Hello,
I have to calculate pressure ratio of high pressure turbine. Turbine is a part of jet engine. I have doubts if it is possible to count that in fluent because I'm not sure if Fluent can solve case when the stream should move rotor blades. I have data like: - pressure before turbine - mass flow rate - blades rotation speed In my case I set: - pressure-based, Steady - K-epsilon, Realizable, Enchanted Wall Function - moving frame with rotation-Axis Direction (1,0,0) and Rotation speed 870 [rad/s] - BCs: pressure-inlet, pressure-outlet, rotation vector of walls (1,0,0), periodicity - Scheme: Coupled, Gradient: G-G Node Based, Pressure: Standard, Momentum & Energy: Second Order Upwind, Turbulence Kinetic Energy & Turbulence Dissipation Rate: Power Law I would like to ask You if that settings are correct. What's more I would like to know if should add rotation speed -870, because I know this is how it should be done with compressors. I am looking forward to hearing from You, Lotd |
