Hi folks,
I am currently performing some forward modelling in a transient thermal model in Mechanical. Here I simulate the effect of an ice age on a large cube of rock to conclude on the local heat flow from the deeper earth. Therefore, I vary the heat generation in the rock as well as the heatflux from my base boundary. I want to compare the modelled heat flux and temperature along a specific path with my borehole data (model path = bore hole trajectory). So here's my problem. So far I have created a solution property for temperature and total heat flux along the borehole path, which gives me exactly the plots I am after: Depth vs Temp / Depth vs. heat flux. However, I can address this plot as an output parameter. In Ansys mechanical I cannot only set the 'P' to parameterise on minimum and maximum values, which works. Exporting the plot results by hand via the right-click export obtion seems a bit laborious for the wast amount of models I am running.. Can anyone relate to this issue and is there a potential workaround to it? Many thanks for your answers! Cheers, Rich |
