tawheed is on a distinguished road
Hallo,

I am really new to ICEM, and i have already made 2D geometry and blocking for a pipe section with an anlet nozzle, and outlet pipe, and a runner blade and a guiding vane in te Middle, i am supposed to mesh now, My supervisor asked me to look for Y+, but I really dont know how to implement it in the mesh, he wants for y+=100, but I am really lost, I dont know what to do with this value to achieve a good mesh.

Gert-Jan will become famous soon enough
Run a simulation with your first mesh. Then in Post check what Yplus values you obtain. Then if YPlus is to large, you need to refine the mesh and rerun your simulation.

The hyperlinks I gave here Yplus Range need to be in a sticky post so that the many posts about y+ can be avoided.
