Hi everybody:
I have a question: What are the differences between the operation Steady-State Thermal and the Transient Thermal analyses? I know that in terms of math, a steady state means a magnitude which does not vary with time, but after taking a look at both analyses using Workbench, I noticed that in both cases it is possible to generate animations and specify time conditions. I do not completely understand why should I use one or another in a particular case where I have constant loads but a varying temperature field. Thanks |
