I am student, newbie and have to do a HW using ANSYS. I use APDL language and ANSYS 18.2 mechanical APDL.

The APDL script asks for modal analysis of a simple shaft with flywheel. The number of modes it asks for is 10.

The problem is that when I run the APDL and look at the solution, ANSYS only shows 4 modes. I verified that the number of modes asked for is 10. But I do not know why ANSYS only shows 4.

When I run the APDL script, there are no errors and no warnings. But in the POSTPROC, READ RESULT, I see only 4 sets.

I can post the APDL script if needed, but was not sure if this is OK. I need some hints of what can be wrong and how to tell ANSYS to give more modes than 4.

(How can one insert an image here? the insert image icon above ask for URL? I was going to put an image of the modal analysis screen, but do not know how to do it)
