Hi,
I am looking at the water cooling problem where optimization of current system is required for electronics. It is complex system that has pattern, and I have simplified this model by taking only one segment. Which package is better to analyze thermal as well as flow behavior for this type of problem and why? Best Regards |

Hi,
So actually Icepak is just a gui put on top of fluent. So it makes the setup and meshing easier for cases of electronics cooling. If you have fans i would go for Icepak because of the automated hexa mesh for these. But if not then i would just keep it in fluent. BR, Tim |

Hi,
What about the case of analyzing the thermal behavior of electric machines, without electronics: is Icepak or Fluent preferred? Thank you. |
