Hello,
I am triyng to import an IGES file into Icepak. I am using this tutorial: https://www.sharcnet.ca/Software/Ans...rt_cad_options But the geometry comes as colorful lines, like something is wrong, and when I try to simulate, it's like the model imported did not exist. Anyone has tryied something like this? This model in particular is a fin heat sink that I have modeled in Solidworks. Thanks! |

Hi,
The imported model is in wireframe. you have to convert the model into regular block. |

What I did was to set the model as a level 3 CAD objetc (eletronics) This way: Tools menu > Electronics > Simplify > Level 3 (CAD object) |
