Hi everyone,
While i was practicing in ANSYS, i came across a code from this webside: https://www.simutechgroup.com/tips-a...yance-floating I implemented it for a different object. However both my and the original simulation have a mistake. The objects are simulated without any damping, so they should basically move like a undamped spring. ( Move up and down in water). Therefore any points displacement in Z-axis should be like a sinusoidal wave when we look them up from ANSYS-PostProcessing. Yet in both simulations a point in z-axis displacement is not sinusoidal, the amplitude of graph keeps increasing with respect to time. Are there any specific reasons for it? Or is it just a simulation technique error, if so any ideas about how can i overcome this problem? Many thanks |
