Hi all,
My first post here but have been lurking for some time. I am currently using the student edition of ANSYS 17.2 and am trying to import geometry files from both AutoCAD and SolidWorks but am having issues with this. As such I am getting this error when I try import any AUTOCAD (.dwg) or SolidWorks (.SLDPRT) file: The selected file is of an unsupported or unconfigured Geometry type. From what I have read online it seemed that I needed to configure my 'selected' CAD interfaces which I have attempted, however I am getting this output (seems fairly common): Prerequisites ..... Configure Success I have opened the Configuration Log File to attempt to identify the problem to which I have found: __________________________________________________ ____________________ But I am unsure how to interpret and fix this problem. As I am only trying to access the read ability so I can load in my geometry files. Any help would be appreciated! |
