Shehryar is on a distinguished road
I am trying to simulate periodic flow of a bubbly system in 2D using Eulerian model, transient. I am following a paper entitled "On the dynamics of instabilities in two-fluid models for bubbly flows" published in International journal of Chemical Engineering Science. I am working on simulating gas-liquid flows in periodic 2D domains. Applying the settings mentioned in the paper, I have run the case in ANSYS Fluent. Case has been simulated upto 30 seconds but phase 2 contour plot does show any sign of disturbance (heterogeneity). ph2contours.jpeg.jpg
However the paper shows that heterogeneity starts developing after 20 seconds [Fig. 1 (b) of above mentioned paper].
I would like to request you to please spare some time to reply to my problem. Please respond to me privately i'll be very thankful for this act of kindness. i can provide the case and data file if needed.
Thanks you.
