I am having problems importing and mapping a three-dimensional temperature field onto a Modal Analysis (with acoustics module) problem. I have explored the "external data" feature, but it does not allow for connection to the setup block of the modal analysis. There is the "acoustic imported temperature" option within Mechanical but I am not able to properly import and observe my ascii file (perhaps the file is oriented incorrectly).
Any help or suggestions are appreciated |

Hi Phil,
You should use the “imported temperature” of the acoustic module under loads. You can either have a .txt or .csv file. The structure should be X Y Z T (m m m C) and it needs to be oriented in with the same global CS of your current system. Have fun |
