Hi all
I have a question about how can I convert the pressure-inlet to velocity-inlet. I did a simulation on a compressor balde using CFX, and the inlet boundary conditions were 'Total Pressure','Total temprature' and 'flow angle'. The result was quite good. But now I want to use velocity-inlet instead of pressure-inlet. So I extract velocity components from pressure-inlet case, and then impose the velocity components to velocity-inlet case. The static pressure at outlet are the same. Unfortunately, I can not get the same result. From the monitor, I found that the total pressure are quite large at the inlet. Can anybody explain the reason?????? Thanks a lot |

You also should extract the static temperature and apply this at the inlet.
