Hey guys
As you can read from the title I'm asking you a question about FSI and is it possible to model a transient problem with non-rigid body motion so it could deform and have movements (displacements and velocities - with 6dof) via Transient Structural and Fluid Flow (Fluent) connected the solvers by System Coupling??

If your answer is yes, I'd say I've already done a model linked-routine like what I said, and for the sphere moving by fluid hydrodynamic forces I've only added FSI interface for it's surface but the error is :
Not enough constraints appear to prevent rigid body motion. This may..

Help me please help me..

COMSOL does this kind of simulations well but I cant lead ANSYS to an answer.

Hi Hosein,

I'm trying to run the same kind of simulation than you (with ANSYS) and I have to say I'm facing the same problem. Have you find any solution to enable the deformation and the displacement of your object for fsi ?

Hi, has anyone figured out if this is possible? Thanks.
