Sir,
I have doubts on CFD study, anyone please help me to clear these doubts. My work is on heat exchanger, heat transfer study by varying mass flow rates of cold and hot fluids. In ANSYS FLUENT software (version 17) , I had done some transient state simulation studies as well as steady state simulation studies by varying the mass flow rates of fluid. 1)The steady state Temperature value , what Im getting in Steady State & Transient State simulations are different. Can the results be different ? In my opinion , the results should be the same. Please can anyone clarify ? 2) In transient state simulation, even after varing the mass flow rate of the fluids(say 1LPM for both hot & cold fluid changed to 2 LPM ) the final steady state value is the same in both the cases ( ie., if 310K is the steady state value obtained for 1LPM , then again for 2LPM also im getting 310 K),which is not correct. What changes I have to make to get proper results? Please, help me with your comments. |
