Impact of closing door (sliding) on a person

Hi all,
I need some tech help. I need to know if we can simulate the below scenario: A sliding door is made up of steel. It has a rubber beading (cross section known) at the edge. The door slides to closed position with a certain speed. Can I model and analyze the force which will act on a person trapped between the doors. Thx AD |

yes, you can place a body between door opening and closing position and measure it on the surface of body

Thx for the reply. I was planning to undertake the analysis in ANSYS. So how do I go about it. I thought of simplifying the problem into only modeling the rubber bead. One end the force of the closing door will act and the other end the body will act as the "stopper".
