Hi everybody,
I've started to test ANSYS workbench to get a feeling about automatic optimization procedure to get the ideal impeller geometry for specific boundary conditions. Iīve found a webinar on ANSYS homepage called "improving turbocharger design" where the author explained a closed loop with Vista CCD-BladeModeler-Vista TF to get a first optimization for given flow conditions. Unfortenualy I struggled to create the same for my own. Two main steps I don't understand and don't let me proceed - every time I connect BM with Vista TF and start the calculating procedure an error message stated that some geometrical parameters missing/canīt use from Vista TF Does anybody know a good documentation that is describing the connection between these two components or describing the needs of TF? - the webinar is showing a closed loop optimization with using a parametric model in BM and DesignExplorer(started at 24:30) Does anybody know how I can implement this parametric model into BM? Do I need the Throughflow component? Do I need I connection to TF to optimize the geometrical parameter to flow parameter? Maybe anybody know a tutorial or similar that's explaining these or a similar optimization procedure. Thanks in advance for your feedback. Michael |
