Hi everyone,
I am trying to transfer stresses and deformation of one analysis to a new analysis. The element type changes in the new analysis and the result from the previous analysis is the initial condition. Can anybody give me any idea how this can be done in ANSYS WORKBENCH? The problem is: 1) it is a cantilever beam type (flexible) that flexes by a load at the end and makes contact with a rigid surface. This I do in the static analysis. 2) I would like to use this deformed and stressed for use in a first step of transient simulation settings. In this step the solicitation at the end there. only would the boundary condition that I want to transfer (deformed beam). and release the extructura would begin the restitution of elastic material. I would like to know how do to export the displacement and tensions from step 1). and import in step 2). In the pictures I show how I think you can make the transfer using the (EXTERNAL DATA) tool. I can not export and import the data into the 2 types of analysis. Sincerely, Roldan Juan Manuel Mechanical Engineer |
