mueller-p is on a distinguished road
Good morning,

for my new project I need a simulation of a deformable body which is filled with fluid.

In the sketch you can see the main problem. The body is excited on the top of the rubber roll with a defined path and frequent. I want to check as the fluid inside the body behaves. Besides if it is possible, I want to know the forces on the base of the steel frame. The damping factor and the spring stiffness of the rubber roll is known.

I know that the heigh and geometry of the steel frame has a significant influence of the resonance frequency and in the first step I want to simulate the system with a simple fluid pillar. After this I want to simulate other geometrys and heights of the steel frame.

I have no really experience in Ansys Workbench (my Version is 17.0), so I hope that you can give my any tips to solve this problem in Ansys.

Thank you very much.

Best regards from the north of germany.
