Hello everyone. This is my first Ansys Maxwell design. I am having a confusion regarding the specifying the ampere turns in the coils. My design coil has 120 AT and 60 turns. Therefore, I am using 60 no of conductors in the current excitation. My confusion is whether I shall use 2A or 120A as the current magnitude for winding? Or whether I need to specify them differently ? Any suggestions will be really helpful.

To be more specific, my question is whether I should specify the ampere turn or the current in each term in the winding definition of Ansys Maxwell transient simulation. Apologies if I am missing anything obvious but it would be really great if someone can sort it out to me as this is my first Maxwell design |
