Hello
I have a workstation with a nvidia quadro K2200 installed. I am trying to run a thermal - statistical analysis. When using 8 CPU, everything is OK, but still slow. When activating the GPU acceleration, things start really fast and then stop with the following message error: "an error occured inside the solver module: general error" Does anyone knows why this problem and how to solve this issue? Thanks a lot |

My experience with trying to run CFD on GPU's is very minimal, but you might want to check and see if your GPU has the memory necessary to hold the simulation on it. That was the problem I quickly ran into, and then subsequently gave up on.
What solver are you using? Try and find an output file in the Workbench directory (sounds like you're launching this through workbench based on the error). Workbench error messages are generally pretty worthless. I know CFX .out files give pretty decent information about what the actual problem is normally. |
