Hello Guys
I am a beginner for using maxwell. I am trying to find out the saturation current of a planar inductor with magnetic core. I first built an spiral inductor. I then draw two plates to surround my planar inductor and assign ferrite to the two plates. I set the current range from 1 A to 100 A and start the simulation. I am expecting that inductance decreases with increasing current. However, the result shows that inductance does not change with current. By the way, I am using magneto static as the solution type. Could anyone give me some suggestions? I really appreciate your helps. Thanks a lot. Best Teng I attached a link here. In the link, you can see that Maxwell can simulate saturation current of a magnetic inductor. http://resource.ansys.com/staticasse...-inductors.pdf |
