Hi guys,
This is my first time trying to mesh a 3D volume in ICEM. I've had some experience meshing in 2D in the past. For a project I'm working on, I need to see flow through a convergent nozzle. I've tried following videos on Youtube and tried doing it but have got to nowhere. Had some questions for you all: 1. I have a domain around the nozzle. In ICEM, is that modeled as a body around the nozzle? I'm a little confused about that. 2. I did follow a video and got some sort of a mesh on my nozzle (I was just trying to teach myself and meshing it to see what it looks like). When I try to import it to FLUENT, it says 'critical error; error #f'. I've seen that error here on the forum before but can't seem to get rid of it. Checked my mesh and it says I have 99 multiple edges. Is that causing the problem? How do I get rid of the multiple edges? Any help would be greatly appreciated guys. Thanks a lot! |
