Hello guys...

I have just assembled a new system with the following configuration:

CPU: Intel core i5 6600k 3.5 GHz @ 4 cores
RAM: 2x8 GB DDR4 2400 MHz

When I use Fluent in serial mode, I have no problem! however when I start fluent in parallel with 2 or 4 cores the process of reading case and data is very very slow...

Even my 7 year old laptop is way faster in reading the same case and data in parallel mode with 2 cores (Intel core 2 due and 4 GB DDR3 ram)

Anyone experiencing the same problem? what is wrong with my new system?

best wishes
