Hello,
I'm using Icepak v15.0, and was wondering--if you have a fan that is operating at a fixed flowrate, how do you output the fan pressure that it has to operate at to produce that flowrate? In FloTHERM (which I am more familiar with) there is a fairly easy way to accomplish this task in the results viewer, but I haven't been able to find the similar option in Icepak. Thanks in advance! |

I guess in FloTHERM, we create a region on the downstream of fan to measure the static pressure. In Icepak the same thing can be done by placing an OPENING smart part a few mm downstream of the fan. Also I guess once the simulation is complete, selecting the corresponding fan in results summary might help. I could have tried and confirmed the same but right now i don't have access to Icepak. Please try the two options and let me know if they help. regards, Pramodh |
