Multiphase flow visualization?

Hello,
I am trying to simulate a transient multi(three) phase problem which includes water, syrup as the liquids and also, some solid particles. It should be mentioned here that the syrup is slightly heavier than water so it settles at bottom at the beginning (initialization/patching is done at the start of simulation). Particles are heaviest and are at the bottom most part of the domain. I am using Eulerian-granular multiphase model in which I am assigning diameter of the solid particles. I can not use DPM because the particles are about 20% of the total volume and also, I do not intend to inject them in the domain. I am getting a fairly good solution but my adviser is asking me for better visualization. In CFD-Post, I can see the particles volume fraction but at the same time, I can not see if the water and syrup had mixed or not. He is looking for some tool by which I can see both of these phases and the particles(or the volume fraction of the particle) at the same time. Since there are three phases, I think it would be confusing to use a lot of contours. . I have no experience in advance visualization software. Any advice would be welcome. Thanks! |
