My Ansys version is 14.5 on Windows 7.

Under the Workbench -> Toolbox, Static Structural does not appear as expceted. However, the Static Sturctural is listed under Toolbox Customization. My question is what happens to it, and how to build a Static Structural system in the case?

Many thanks in advance!

Hi drachen,

Under Toobox customization, go to Static Structural and you will find a small box on left side if it. Select that box and it will come as Tick Mark. Once you have the Tick mark, you will be able to see static structural under your Toolbox

Thank you very much for the reply!

However, the fact is that only Fluid flow (CFX), Fluid Flow (Fluent) and IC Engine appeared under the Toolbox, even I checked all the marks. It only appears/disappears under the Toolbox when choosing one of the three above, no work for the rest. I really do not know the reason behind. Is it about my lisense?

Cheers

License could be possible cause.
do You have mechanical License? If not then you will not be able to use it.
Check type of your license from "Serverr Anslic_Admin Utility"
If you have license then try again and save it

How to check the type of the license in my computer, are they different? What I know is that I can use Fluid Flow(Fluent) at least.

Cheers

To check all licenses you have

goto: "Start" > "All programs" >"Ansys, Inc. License Manager" > "Server Anslic_Admin Utility" > "View Status/Diagnostic Options" > Display the License Status"
