Dear all,
I am importing the solid model of fluid domain of centrifugal type of pump drawn in the creo into the Ansys for simulation, but it is getting surface model after import. Can anybody tell me the solution on this the problem. You can see the fluid domain also. Thank You, Ravindra. |

I guess, while saving your part file in igs format in Creo, you have checked the "surfaces" checkbox in the Export IGES window. Try checking "solids" instead, so that your entire part gets imported as one solid model, and not just the external surfaces.

Dear Pratik,
Thank you for your response. But I did that solid only. Now this work has been done. But still the geometry is not imported well; at some location its disturbed. Do I need to correct it using ansys modeller? |
