Hi all
I am very much a novice with the ANSYS CFD packages and have worked my way through the official tutorial packages. What I wanted to ask the community what could new user do after the tutorials to increase their proficiency and take the next step? Read the theory guide? tackle problems? How did the experts become experts? It would be nice if CFD Online could come up with a few challenges or intermediate problems to try and tackle to guide novices who know how to click buttons from the tutorials but want to take the next steps. All suggestions and advice are welcomed Thanks in advance. |

Hi Matt,
After the tutorials you can start doing some trivial problems such as flow over different body shapes, von karmen vortex etc. There are a bunch of cfd tutorials available on youtube also. You can read their problem statement, try to solve the problem yourself and then look back. |
