Hello,
Relatively new user looking at meshing a case for exterior aerodynamics of streamlined vehicles, in particular a wind tunnel validation study. My problem is prism generation on the floor boundary not running to the inlet and outlets correctly. This causes the prisms to decrease to a small point which ultimately leads to terrible quality cells. Please see the attached picture that I hope explains my issue. I am aware that the mesh appears quite coarse - I am just trying to eliminate the prism problem. Any help or advice welcome. Cheers! Ben |

If your geometry is not very complex, try using blocking...then you will have easy time with the prism layer

Hi,
check the value of Max Prism Angle parameter under Global Prism Mesh Parameters. If you have 90 or less that may cause the error |
