Dear all,
I'm modeling a flow over an oscillating cylinder. Initially i run the serial solver of ansys and everything went good, but when i run the prallel solver fluent gives me differents types of error like: Detected negative volume. AMG solver prerssure or x-momentum ... Further more i realized that the parallel solver modifies the rigid body motion. In fact as you can see in the figure the cylinder is deformed while it should have been moved like a rigid body. How can i fix this problem?? Thank you!!! (I apologize for my bad english ... ) |

Hi, have you had any luck with this?
I'm doing dyna mesh runs but always avoided parallel solver 'cause of errors like yours. Please post back or even PM me if you have found anything that solved your problems. |
