Hi all,
I have some Ansys Workbench v14 and v15 projects and I want to put them into one project or two projects, but there doesn't seem to be a way to import a *.wbpj project file into another project. Ideally I'm looking for a way to import them so that there is block A(project 1), block B(project 2), and so on where each contains their respective geometry, mesh, and simulation data from their original individual projects. Is there anyway to do this? I tried using the import but it only lets me select a *.wbdb file and I have no idea what that is since there doesn't seem to be a way to create one and none of the projects file directories contain it. Did I miss something? |

For instance, if one of your projects is a mechanical model, you could first save it as a mechanical model file (.mechdat). Later, you have only to Import this project to the other one by means of the import option (upper left corner in your workbench) and select the .mechdat extension.
I hope this may help you. |
