Hi all,
I am new to using CFD programs and require to use ANSYS for a research project at university. I am running into a problem when I first start fluent after creating the geometry and mesh for the first tutorial in the ANSYS Fluent tutorial guide. The error message I get is: Unable to connect to external socket: error during socket creation. What does this mean and how do I solve the problem? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Regards, Wes |

The solution is in this post: http://www.cfd-online.com/Forums/flu...-creation.html
Disable your VMware network connections, then it will work. |
