chek is on a distinguished road
Hi,

I am currently working on a project to study the effect of hydrodynamic forces acting on slings of an object being lifted down onto the seafloor through the splashzone.

May I have suggestions as to whether FLUENT or CFX is the better method for the solver part? I do not have access to ASAS(I wish i had).

Is it better to model the entire system (object, crane vessel, slings, wave tank) in another CAD software I am more familiar with, then import it over to workbench, or is it more appropriate the model the system within ANSYS itself?
