Hi,

I've installed ANSYS v14.5 on a new PC, first the products and then the licence manager. I then opened Workbench and could see all the Analysis Systems, Component Systems, Custom Systems and Design Optimization I have a licence for.

However, when I restarted my PC all of the Analysis Systems, Component Systems, Custom Systems and Design Optimizations were not in listed in Workbench anymore (except for Engineering Data, External Connection, Geometry and Microsoft Office Excel).

In Workbench I clicked on Tools > Licence Preferences I got two error messages as shown in the images.

In the Server ANSLIC_ADMIN Utility the Licence Manager status says: Licensing Interconnect: running, Licensing Interconnect Monitor: running and FLEXlm: running. Also, which I clicked on View Status/Diagnostic Options > Display the Licence Status it showed all the products I have but which are not appearing in Workbench. I have also installed the Licence File again but it says that the "Selected file is equivalent to exisiting licence file; licence file not updated".

I'm sure the installation was all correct (there was no errors during it) as this problem only happens after I restarted my PC and opening Workbench, before that everything was good.

I do not know what else to do. Can anyone help? Thanks.

Try to stop ANSYS services through windows task manager: ansysli_monitor.exe, ansysli_server.exe and lmgrd.exe. Later you must start ANSYS license sirvices manually through Server ANSLIC_ADMIN Utility "Start the ANSYS, Inc. License Manager".
On my computer license of ANSYS often don't work properly after reboot.
