hello folks,

1)Can anyone tell me how to create bounding box(larger) if my geometry is symmetry. length of my model is 10m, so what would be the appropriate dimensions. it would be helpful if u say me in sequence steps

2)since my geometry is symmetry how can i delete the other half of the model exactly without affecting my geometry
hoping for ur replies soon

sorry friends i got deleting the half model, now my question is after i complete the mesh for my symmetry model by adjusting the mesh parameters, how can i mirror the same mesh for the deleted half model at the end when giving boundary types for flow analysis...

If you want to mirror the mesh in ICEM, go to the Edit Mesh tab and find a button called 'Transform Mesh'. There's an option (3rd button from the left) to mirror your mesh in there.

Cheers
