[ICEM] Steps of generating prism layer

I am a fresh user of ICEM CFD. For my first project, I need to meshing a simple pipe. I would like to have a prism layer for the mesh. However when I setting the height of prism layer = 40 and layer = 1 for the circular radius = 200mm. However there is no prism layer occur in the mesing. Could any one teach me the steps of generating the prism layer of the mesh in ICEM. Thank you very much.

Seems I know waht's happening. My prism mesh was set in the internal of the pipe. However I would like to have the prism layer of the pipe on the inlet and the outlet surface. so what can I do if I need to have the prism layer of the inlet and the outlet surface of the pipe??

Every prism tutorial covers how to select which parts get prism... It is a check box either under params by parts or right in the PRISM DEZ when you go to run prism separately...

As for the inside of your pipe, which such a thick initial height prism is likely failing because the extruded elements are such bad quality by the time they are that far in (the extruded tops of the prisms are squished)...
