l am having this error when applying boundary layer to a volume.
This volume is an incline pipe attached to a vertical pipe. initialization failed: perturb boundary node and try again; error, IG TG Mesh domain failed with error code 1 error: Tetrahedral meshing has failed for volume. This is usually caused by problems in the face meshes and make sure the face mesh sizes are not too large in areas of small gaps. l am using GAMBIT . l will appreciate if someone can kindly come to my aid. Thanks. |

While surface meshing don't you get any warning regarding skewness on surface mesh?
If yes note the surface id, and investigate your topology overthere. Typically you have smal edge or sharp angle
