Hello
I am attempting to mesh an imported solid body as a fluid with surface bodies within it acting as baffles. This is to be used in OpenFoam The problem: surface body patches are not recognized/imported into openfoam. I was previously using Gambit with the following workflow: import part split volumes with faces mesh set zone name and type I am inclined to think the problem is related to the fact that I can't figure out how to split the volume in ANSYS Mesh as well as set zone types beyond named selections. Any ideas? Thanks |

Additional information:
This model imports the same way into Fluent. The surface bodies are selectable and visible in DM and the mesher. But when the model is opened within Fluent or Foam the surface bodies are no longer visible. |
