Hi,
I'm using Icem 12.1. Is it possible to display the exact Volume of a single mesh cell or to measure the length of a cell edge? Thx |

Yes, there are quality metrics for many things including Volume/Area/Length.
If you put that element into a subset (right click on mesh=>Subsets=>Create and add elements to the subset) you can go to Edit Mesh => Display Mesh Quality, set the elements to check to your visible subset and set the quality criterion as desired (Volume, Max Side, Min Side or whatever)... Note, you could also just use the measure tool (in the utility icons in the top left corner, second row, third column), but make sure you toggle on the selection tool bar option to allow mesh/block selection. |
