hi,

i have a few question about the manual in section 3.7.2 "Tutorial Opera M6 Wing with 0.54 M":

1) In the visualization of result iget pressures over the wing. how can i get the dimension of this values? Are they in Mpa in this case?

2) If i want to get stresses and deformations on wing (from root to tip), how can i export the pressures values (i understand it as loads) to ANSYS Workbench? so i assign boundary conditions and materials properties to calculate it. Or is it calculated in ANSYS ICEM CFD directly? Thanks

Greets,
Pablo

That tutorial shows post in ICEM CFD Visual3 Post... It is possible to map these results to FEA output. I made a tutorial for that years ago, but I just did a search and couldn't find it.

I recommend you use CFD Post in ANSYS Workbench which makes it much easier. There are a number of new tutorials explaining the process.

Sorry, I have switched to CFD Post several years ago and don't have a fresh memory about Visual3...

Usually, there is a legend to help you interpret the colors. You can also draw lines to use as the Xaxis of a 2D pressure plot, etc.
