hi,
i have a few question about the manual in section 3.7.2 "Tutorial Opera M6 Wing with 0.54 M": 1) In the visualization of result iget pressures over the wing. how can i get the dimension of this values? Are they in Mpa in this case? 2) If i want to get stresses and deformations on wing (from root to tip), how can i export the pressures values (i understand it as loads) to ANSYS Workbench? so i assign boundary conditions and materials properties to calculate it. Or is it calculated in ANSYS ICEM CFD directly? Thanks Greets, Pablo |

That tutorial shows post in ICEM CFD Visual3 Post... It is possible to map these results to FEA output. I made a tutorial for that years ago, but I just did a search and couldn't find it.
I recommend you use CFD Post in ANSYS Workbench which makes it much easier. There are a number of new tutorials explaining the process. Sorry, I have switched to CFD Post several years ago and don't have a fresh memory about Visual3... Usually, there is a legend to help you interpret the colors. You can also draw lines to use as the Xaxis of a 2D pressure plot, etc. |
