Dear all,
does anybody know if is it possible to import an autocad .dwg sketch into design modeller? I am only able to import solids from autocad, using the format acis (.sat), but I got quite a lot of problems with sliver faces and not being able to import some solids which actually exist in my autocad file. So I am trying to import sketches and then build the solids directly in design modeller. many thanks Luis |

Yes,
However, older versions of DM (older than 13.0) did not support mulit-dimension parts. In other words, your part had to be all Solids or All Lines... Other wise, it would just bring in the solids.
