So as it says, I am trying to loft from a square to a circle in design modeler and I get the issue of not having the same number of sides. I'm obviously a bit of a novice and have never tried making complicated shapes like this before. I'm sure I could make this in Solid works and already have though I would imagine theres a way to do this in ansys also. I have done some searches and look through some DM documentation but have not been able to figure it out. Any help is appreciated.

In the sketch tools, find the option to split a curve by location... Then just create a split half way around the round. Tada, now your round has two curve segments and your corner has 2 curves. It will loft.
