hi there,
im trying to simulate free falling of a rigid ball into calm water with free surface. i've created a 3d gtm mesh with one element thickness to have a 2d simulation. then imported into cfx-pre, wrote expressions for ball motion, and apply it on ball boundry. then started cfx-solver, everything goes well until negative volume error after 200 iterations! i've found that minimum value of "orthogonality angle" will drop below 1! then i've read THIS tutorial about re-meshing and found that i have to do something with "replay manager" but this page is a brief overview and don't have detail information also i couldn't find a step by step solution for it my problem is somehow the same as video in that tuutorial! could someone please tell me how to do re-meshing? |
