Dear All,
I have a heated cylinder that has several water channels flowing over it. In order to separate the single cylinder surface into several heat transfer surfaces I have joined all the bodies into one part using Design Modeller. Unfortunately when I take it into CFX Mesh tool the geometry becomes corrupted, i.e. there are collapsed edges and other flaws which cannot be meshed . If I do not join the bodies into one part the geometry imports correctly into CFXMesh! Is there a better way to divide the cylinder surface into segments? I have tried Imprint Surfaces option in Body Operations but this does not do anything. Any help much appreciated. Regards John |
