Hello
I am trying to mesh a complex volume using the Tet/Hybrid; Hexcore (TGrid) scheme and persistently get an error which states "edge intersects face". Have tried varying my edge, face and BL meshes but continue to get this error. Does this reflect an issue with my geometry? Any assistance or insight is appreciated. Looking through past posts I see others have run into this issue but don't see where anyone has gotten through it. Thank you |

First try to mesh your volume without BL.
Post also a picture of your geometry.

It worked!

I took out the BL and it worked fine - not sure what the issue was, but I was able to mesh successfully without BL but with more buffer and peel layers. Thank you.

Then you know where the problem is.
It is a mesh problem, and not a geometry-one. So you can re-create your BL, and you can preview the boundary layer: Mesh/Boundary Layer/View 3D Boundary Layer
