i am modeling a micro geometry in the gambit.
when i want to mesh a face, gambit warns me as: mesh size on face *** is smaller than geometric tolerance .... i Know that the default global geometric tolerance of gambit is 1e-6 and the solution of this problem is to define it in a larger scale like mm. but i can not change the scale, the geometry is so complicated and i cant really model it again. i want to know if there is any way to change the global geometric tolerance in Gambit to some thing like 1e-7 ? Help me please. thank u. |

Gambit has no unity.
If you are working in micro-m, then multiply all your geometry with factor 1e6. For instance if you have a cylinder with radius 10 mu-m with an height of 100, thje create a cylinder 10x100. You will need to scale your geometry in the solver, but later and independant to gambit
