Hi all,
I am using turbogrid to mesh an axial fan blade. I use Ansys bladegen to get the profiles for the blade from my cad and then export it into Turbogrid. When I bring it in it gives the following error: WARNING Profile 2 appears to run in the opposite direction from the profile before it. The order of profile points will be reversed. WARNING Profile 4 appears to run in the opposite direction from the profile before it. The order of profile points will be reversed. Does anyone know how to fix this? |

Hi,
How do you use Ansys bladegen to get the profiles for the blade? With the data import wizard? Have you tried attaching the CAD model of the blade to Design Modeler with the Blade Editor plugin and then transfering it to Turbogrid with ExportPoints feature? If yes, please tell me how you made it. Thanks! |

Hi,
Yes I chopped the blade up into sections in my CAD and used the data import wizard. Haven't tried the other method you suggested. |
