Hello everyone,
I am working on the seperation flow arround a prolate spheroid.

Goal of my project: - improve the meshing with a quad method to obtain good aspect ratio and good skewness. - target the separation flow very close to the prolate spheroid.

Method: - Split the global spherical volume in some quadrilateral sector as shown in the pictures. - Inflation meshing to see the boundary layer arround the body.

Main problem : How can I do to share every edges and faces between bodies? Right now the gap between them generate a different meshing both side of the interface.

The following pictures illustrate this project and this problem.

Thanks for your help.

You need to combine the parts into a multibody part so that you will get conformal mesh...

You can do this in the geometry branch of the model tree.
