Hey there,

thanks for reading this post... I'd like to combine to C-Grids so they'll look like the two white lines in the image (the lower end of the first c should be linked to the upper end of a mirrored C). That would mean that the red line should be where the yellow line is and the blue line should be where the green line is. Logically this should be possible but I didn't manage to find out how to tell ICEM to do it

Can anyone help?

Thanks a lot,
icemcfx

Sorry to get to this so horribly late (I found some CFD-Online emails had been shunted to a junk folder), but yes, I can help... And the solution is quite simple.

If you are still interested, please let me know and we can revive this thread with the solution...

(hint, I can show you how to create the whole Ogrid at once)

Best regards,

Simon

Hey Simon,

thanks for the answer!

We managed to do it in the end by splitting both O-Grids and deleting the outer blocks and one of the two blocks where the connection shall be made. It was then possible to merge the vertices and create the wanted C-Grid.

Nevertheless I would be interested in your solution of the problem, especially if it is much simpler

Regards
