I am using CFX-Mesh in Ansys 12 to create a mesh for Fluent. When I load the mesh into Fluent, I get a warning that skewness exceeds 0.98. In Gambit, you could set a filter to see where these cells exist, but I cannot find a way to do this in CFX-Mesh. Is there a way to do this in CFX-Mesh?
On a side note, if you have any recommendations for preventing such cells in the first place and/or recommendations on the best way to fix skewed cells, please post your insight. |

Try the latest version, 12.0, so you can view quality metrics in ANSYS Meshing...
In 12.1, they also have a histogram tool that allows you to display the elements in each quality range. |
